The symposium brought together over 200 representatives from 37 countries and regions, including government officials, ambassadors, international organizations, scholars, and business leaders. Participants engaged in wide-ranging discussions on the theoretical exploration, policy practice, and international experience of new quality productive forces, and jointly called for “working together to develop new quality productive forces and cultivate new drivers of economic growth.”
The symposium was guided by China’s State Council Information Office and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and jointly organized by the China Foundation for Human Rights Development, the Academy of Macroeconomic Research of the NDRC, and Haier Group, with the China International Publishing Group’s China Book Import and Export Corporation as the co-organizer.
In his speech, Han highlighted the social dimensions of new quality productive forces, emphasizing that innovation must go beyond technological breakthroughs and industrial upgrading to also address pressing social challenges. He highlighted Union Comm’s experience in APEC and BRICS cooperation, stressing that such efforts can help address pressing social challenges while driving more inclusive and sustainable growth.
Han underscored that “new quality productive forces are at their best when they empower people, address shared challenges, and build bridges across borders. By working together, we can ensure that innovation becomes not just a source of growth, but a source of hope and opportunity for all.”

Union Comm’s participation in the symposium reflects its commitment to advancing inclusive, sustainable, and internationally cooperative approaches to innovation.
