Union Comm Supports JD.com’s Hong Kong 618 Launch Event

Union Communications Hong Kong Limited (“Union Comm”), a policy advocacy and communications consultancy based in Hong Kong, supported JD.com’s “JD MALL Wan Chai Store Soft Opening and JD.com Hong Kong 618 Launch Event” on June 5, 2026.

As part of the project, Union Comm provided strategic communications consulting, media relations, and on-site event management. The event attracted more than 30 media and over 50 media representatives, generating over 80 media clips across TV, newspapers, and online media.
The event marked an important milestone in JD.com’s further development in Hong Kong. During the launch event, JD.com shared its business development roadmap for the Hong Kong market with governments, brands, and media. Key messages included HK$35 billion investment in Hong Kong, its plan to create over 10,000 job opportunities, and its target to open six to eight additional JD MALL stores in Hong Kong. The event also underscored JD.com’s commitment to enhancing Hong Kong’s retail industry and consumer experience through better products, cheaper prices, stronger supply chains, and smarter AI.
