APEC Tech For Good Workshop in Shenzhen

Introduction
The APEC Tech For Good Workshop will be held in Shenzhen, China from July 8 to 10, 2026, bringing together representatives from APEC economies, international organizations, government agencies, enterprises, academia, civil society, and youth communities to explore how technology can contribute to inclusive, sustainable, responsible, and people-centered growth.
Under the theme “From Growth to Good, From Vision to Action,” the workshop focused on how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, digital platforms, green technologies, data systems, and smart community solutions, can help address shared economic, social, and environmental challenges across the Asia-Pacific region.
The workshop also echoes the APEC China 2026 host year theme, “Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together,” and its priorities of Openness, Innovation, and Cooperation.
