Union Communications (“Union Comm”), a policy advocacy and communications agency in Hong Kong, was honored to participate in the 2024 Eurasian Women’s Forum (EWF), held in Saint Petersburg from 18 to 20 September 2024.

The Forum, recognized as a significant global platform for women leaders, convened representatives from 126 countries and over 20 international organizations to engage in dialogue and address critical global issues.

Additionally, Sam was a featured speaker at the roundtable session “Women in Technology: Developing Artificial Intelligence”, where he discussed the vital role of technological innovation in empowering vulnerable groups, including the use of AI to support hearing-impaired communities. Further, Sam advocated for the active involvement of men in gender equality initiatives, noting that engaging men as allies in these efforts is essential for long-term success.

As a distinguished member of the APEC BEST AWARD Jury representing Hong Kong, China, as well as a member of the B20 and the BRICS networks, Sam brings extensive expertise in public policy advocacy and digital inclusion, making significant contributions to discussions on gender equality and the future of women in leadership and technology.

"Union Comm is committed to advancing gender equality through innovative solutions in technology, communications, and advocacy. Our participation in the Eurasian Women's Forum reflects our dedication to empowering women and fostering a more inclusive global business environment," said Sam Han.
